Hallberg-Rassy 45 was built during 1988 - 1996. A total of 71 hulls were built. When the Hallberg-Rassy 45 was launched in 1988 it was a trendsetter. 

OVERALL VICTORY IN THE ARC

The 45 combined all Hallberg-Rassy's traditional hallmarks, like style, sturdiness, comfort, fine woodwork, thorough technical installations and an ample tank capacity with sailing characteristics unsurpassed for a sailing boat of this type. The Hallberg-Rassy 45 claimed overall victory in the ARC over the Atlantic, in competition with a range of vessels from Whitbread boats and racers/cruisers to smaller family style boats.
